Archaeological Museum – Felipe Orlando Museum of Pre-Columbian Art – Benalmádena

 

The Felipe Orlando Museum of Pre-Columbian Art is located in the town of Benalmádena, in the province of Málaga, in Spain. This archaeological museum is dedicated to the exhibition and conservation of pieces belonging to the pre-Columbian cultures of America, spanning from the pre-ceramic period to the Spanish conquest. The museum has a collection of more than 200 archaeological pieces from different pre-Columbian cultures, such as the Mayan, Aztec, Inca, Moche, Mixtec and others. Among the most notable pieces are ceramics, sculptures, textiles, jewelry, tools and utensils for everyday use. The museum is distributed in several thematic rooms that allow the visitor to take a tour of the history and evolution of these cultures.
